Dilys Morgan 1915-2010

Ex-pupils, teaching colleagues and members of the King’s community will be saddened to hear of the recent death of Miss Dilys Morgan, former Head of Junior School (from 1951 to 1975). Miss Morgan passed away in her sleep in the early hours of Monday 8th February at the Lawn’s care home in Quedgeley. She was ninety-four years old.

 

Dilys’ life and work was remembered at a special Evensong on Saturday 8th May in the Cathedral, followed by the interment of her ashes in the Cloister Garth.  This was followed by a reception in the Parliament Room.
