Although kilts were not worn, the wail of the bagpipes was not heard and not even a smidgeon of Walker's shortbread was consumed in the course of the whole evening, a thoroughly Scottish reunion took place at the Caledonian Hotel in Edinburgh on Saturday June 13th 2009. Although this was a very small gathering, all four of the houses that used to exist were represented. Memories of former Headmaster, Tom Brown, flowed freely and the present Headmaster, Alistair Macnaughton, brought the company up to date on the School's recent doings. It was a truly convivial evening and a springboard, we hope, to further reunions north of the border.
