The 1541 Society, named for the re-founding of the King's School as we know it today, recognises past pupils and friends who decide to leave a legacy to the School during their lifetime. Those who do will become members of the Society and will be invited to a special lunch once a year as a guest of the School, to meet some pupils and hear from the Headmaster about current activities and future plans. We are indebted to all those who so generously remember King's and we hope The 1541 Society will have a major impact on the future.
It is intended that legacies will be used primarily to support bursaries, thereby maintaining the school's broad social mix and breadth of talent which underpins the community spirit that makes King's unique. Legacies will also help preserve and enhance the fabric of the School.
If you would like to receive information about the legacies or the ‘1541 Club', please contact the Foundation Office on 01452 337337, e-mail foundation@thekingsschool.co.uk, or write to Alison West in confidence at the School.
