The Annual Fund 2009-10

This year, King’s are introducing for the first time an Annual Fund which we hope will provide for those extras that will enhance the educational experience here. The success of the fund depends not on large gifts but on participation from as many of those connected with the School as possible. We have chosen a range of projects which will benefit pupils of all ages and are achievable within the period of a year. Funds raised through the Annual Giving Programme are designated only for the projects outlined and we will issue a report on the amounts raised at the end of the academic year. The projects for this year are:

  • A Grand Piano for the Music School- Between £15k and £20K
  • Senior School Library Development -£15k
  • Debating Lectern and Bell - £500
  • A Nintendo Wii for the Junior School - £420
  • The Bursary Fund - King’s is committed to widening access by offering means tested bursaries to pupils who would not otherwise be able to attend the School. To this end we have included a bursary category for those who might prefer to contribute to a longer term ambition.
