LOWER PREP
Hello and Welcome to Lower Prep. My name is Mrs McVittie.
During the School Year, Lower Prep take part in many exciting activities both in and out of the classroom. Children in Lower Prep become more involved in all afterschool clubs, where they are given the opportunity to join the Orchestra, Drama, Sports clubs, Sewing, Cheerleading, Rugby, Art and Craft and Cookery to name a few!
We emphasis on treating pupils as individuals with small class sizes, typically 14-16 helping us to identify and focus on individual talents with differentiated approaches enabling pupils of varying abilities to flourish.
We have a busy timetable and enjoy weekly French, Music, DT, PSE, Art and Swimming lessons.
Lower Prep love learning new topics and we support these with visits to the Cathedral, Monastic Trail and Gloucester Docks as part of our topic on the history of canals. We will have an Egyptian Day when we dress up and eat Egyptian food.
