King's is situated in the heart of the city, next to the Cathedral. If you are using SatNav please enter 'Gouda Way' - this will bring you directly to the main school entrance and car parks.
Directions from M5 Motorway / Cheltenham
From M5 Southbound - Leave the M5 at junction 11. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit, then merge onto the A40 (signposted Cirencester, Gloucester). If travelling from the northbound direction of the M5 exit at Junction 11 and at the roundabout take the 1st exit, then merge onto the A40 (signposted Cirencester, Gloucester).
At the 1st roundabout (Elm Bridge Court) take the 4th exit onto the A40 (signposted Ross).
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A38 (signposted Gloucester) you will see the
Longford Inn on your right.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A417 (signposted Cathedral, Historic Docks) you will pass St Oswald’s Retail Park including Home Sense and B&Q Superstore on your right.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A417 (signposted Ross-on-Wye) you will pass Tesco Superstore on your right.
Keep in the left-hand lane, go under the railway bridge and immediately turn left at the traffic lights into Priory Way (you will pass the Blade Volkswagon showroom on your left).
Follow Priory Way which then leads to Gouda Way, passing through pedestrian crossing lights. The entrance to the King’s School car park is approximately 100 metres on the right.
Directions from The Forest of Dean, The West etc.
Approach Gloucester on the A40 - At Over Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A417 (signposted Gloucester).
Go straight over at the traffic light intersection, passing over Westgate Bridge.
Keep in the left-hand lane. As you pass the Riverside Sports Club on your left move into the right-hand lane keeping straight ahead (Archdeacon Meadow, King’s School sports ground will be on the left).
At the traffic lights, turn right into Priory Road (you will pass the Blade Volkswagon showroom on your left in Priory Way).
Follow Priory Way which then leads to Gouda Way, passing through pedestrian crossing lights. The entrance to the King’s School car park is approximately 100 metres on the right.
