Me and my class went to the Folk Museum to know what it was like to go to school in the Victorian times. We had to put on pinafores with short sleeves at the end of the sleeves were some frills and we had to wear hats, at the bottom were some frills and they are both white. The boys had to wear old fashioned waistcoats and caps. When we first went in I felt scared. First we used slates then we used paper with ink pens. To use ink pens there was an ink well, in the ink well was some ink and you put the pen in the ink well and then we did the timetables.
I wouldn’t go to the school in Victorian times!

Yesterday we went to the Folk Museum and I was very worried and the teacher was very scary.
I didn’t like it when Edward got the cane, Evie got the back straightener because she was slouching and Ellie got the fingerstocks!
