The aim of Science at King's is to stimulate, encourage and excite our students to develop an understanding, appreciation and curiosity of the world around us. We aim to enrich learning with out of school activities such as fieldwork, educational trips and links with local universities.
The Science Department adopts a practical approach to topics, where possible, and the content in the topics studied encourages much discussion, debate and evaluation of cutting edge science. This approach enables pupils to develop their communication skills at the same time as their knowledge and understanding.
