Candidates attending Preparatory Schools can take the Common Entrance Examination in June, or where appropriate our own 13+ Entrance Examinations. We would also recommend a Taster Day in School and attention is paid to a report from the child’s current school.
Candidates who have not been prepared for Common Entrance would be invited to attend a Taster Day, attention is also paid to a report from the child’s current school. and we will also conduct the relevant 13+ Entrance Assessments in Mathematics and English.
13+ Scholarships and Non-Academic Awards
King’s School offers a number of Scholarships and Awards at 13+ these include: Academic, Art, Music, Sport, Drama and All round talent.
Assessments for Non Academic Awards will be held in the January of Year 8 and Academic Scholarships will be assessed in March.
