Report on the Outdoor Pursuits Society trip to the Lake District. Saturday 7th - Sunday 8th March 2009
At the weekend the Outdoor Pursuits Society had a great trip to the Lake District.
Ten students and two staff stayed in Ambleside on Saturday evening and then walked to the summit of High Street at 828m, near Patterdale on Sunday. The weather conditions were extremely changeable, with snow on the high ground accompanied by frequent hail storms making for an exciting challenge. All successfully completed the walk and had a fun time.
