In March a group of nine students from the Fifth and Sixth Form headed up to the Lake District for a weekend’s walking. Staying overnight in the YHA hostel in Patterdale, the group climbed Helvellyn via Grizedale Tarn and Dollywagon Pike. Despite the sub zero temperatures and strong winds on the summits all had a great time.
