King's pupils are celebrating another vintage year of excellent results. With 47% of the grades awarded being A* or A, the highest percentage of A's in the school's history and 65% A* to B, the highest percentage in the last eight years. Headmaster, Alistair Macnaughton, said "We are delighted that the talent and hard work of a highly motivated year group have been recognised and rewarded."
25% of pupils gained straight A* or A in all their subjects.
Alistair Macnaughton added, "I am also very pleased that so many in this year's Upper Sixth will now be able to study at their chosen universities. The time and effort spent in choosing the best courses for their talents have certainly not been wasted."
