On Friday 1st May Laud House, Serlo House and Wheeler House entered teams in a fun competition held at lunchtime. It was a through back for some pupils as they participated in events such as the ‘egg and spoon race’, the ‘piggy back race’ and the ‘three-legged race’. There was even a fancy dress race that members of the teaching staff participated in.
The idea behind the event was to help raise money for the charities chosen by the Houses, following on from the bag packing event at Tesco. Members of Wheeler House thought of the idea, but it was implemented and organised superbly by the group of Community Sports Leaders from the Lower Sixth. Along with the money from Mufti Day the amount raised was £359.89
