Claire Billingsley
BA Hons in Three-Dimensional Design, Ceramics from the Cardiff Institute of Higher Education Wales.
Her ceramics is sculptural based, hand built in stoneware clay and her influences include the human form and organic objects. Recently Claire has been turning her hand more to painting and in particular the figure and icons. She has exhibited in counties throughout England and Wales and she enjoys travelling here and abroad, witnessing the diversity of cultures, history, heritage and religious.
Louise Lewis
BDes Hons in Constructed Textiles, with Photography as a support study from the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, Scotland.
Louise’s work was influenced by the Scottish landscape and now by the natural environment around her, the textures and surfaces. Her woven textiles include experimenting with felting lambswool. Louise has exhibited in England, Scotland, Canada and New Zealand. She has a passion for travel, in particular to Italy with its spectacular architecture.
Julie Fowler
BA Hons in Three-Dimensional Design, Ceramics from the Cardiff Institute of Higher Education Wales.
Julie worked with terra sigillata, saggar firings and porcelain, creating figurative work. She is influenced by the work of artists like Van Gogh, Picasso’s Blue Period and Munch, as well as exploring “the human condition. She travelled to West Africa and this had a profound influence on her, in addition she is fascinated with the Indian and Islamic architecture and art. Julie has exhibited throughout England and Wales and worked on many ceramic projects within Gloucestershire.
