Hackley visit King's

The King’s School had the pleasure of hosting 12 pupils and 4 staff from Hackley School, New York. It was an opportunity for many of the King’s pupils to reunite themselves with familiar faces from when they were at Hackley just last month on the Economics and Business trip. The Hackley pupils spent the morning attending classes and mixing with our pupils, sharing experiences and discussing their respective lives. It was excellent to be able to listen to three of the Hackley pupils spend a few minutes in Chapel telling us about their adventures on this side of the pond. The Hackley staff had the opportunity to attend a number of English and Theatre Studies lessons, as well as enjoy a tour of the school with some of our Sixth Form.

Both schools are very much looking forward to continuing to develop the link with one another.
