Sports Dinner 2009

The 2009 Sports Dinner was another enjoyable night for all concerned. Over 80 pupils, staff and guests attended the evening. Our Guest of Honour was Angie Pearce who has represented England Masters since 1996 and is currently working for England Hockey as a Development Officer covering Gloucestershire and Avon. A great deal of our students have benefited from her coaching expertise in recent years. The following Captains gave excellent speeches on how the season had unfolded:

1st XV William Graulich

2nd XV Silas Barke

1st X1 Jessica Millington /Polly Davies

2nd X1 Georgina Hillier

* A detailed breakdown of the fixtures this season will appear on the school website

The evening concluded with a ‘Limbo’ competition which might come in handy on Tour in Barbados in July 2010. The girls proved to be the Champions on the night but I am sure that with a well structured training programme that the boys will rise to the challenge in the summer!
