The King’s School Dramatic Society performed Alan Bennett’s very funny play version of the classic children’s story, ‘The Wind in the Willows’. Toad’s wild enthusiasms and mad cap crazes, the tender friendship and adventures of Mole and Ratty, the wicked actions of the nasty weasels all combined to make it a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable piece of theatre. The production was staged outdoors in Dulverton Gardens in the shadow of Gloucester Cathedral and proved to be one of the best ensemble pieces the school has produced in recent years with all the actors rising superbly to the challenge.
