Exam ResultsOf the pupils taking English GCSE last year, ten received Learning Support, and results were as follows; For English Language, 10 pupils were entered; 2 pupils gained A grades, 2 pupils gained B grades, 5 pupils gained C grades, and one gained a D grade. For English Literature, 8 pupils were entered; 2 gained B grades, 6 gained C grades, and 1 gained a D grade. Well done to all of these pupils! Maths support was also available at GCSE. Eighteen pupils in last year’s upper sixth form had attended Learning Support lower down the school. All of them achieved A level grades in the A,B,C range and went on to Universities and Colleges of their choice. Congratulations to them!
Access Arrangements for public examinationsThese arrangements are put in place by the Learning Support Co-ordinator who works closely with the Examinations Officer. Assessment by our consultant Educational Psychologist is advisable, and this can be carried out in school. We are also able to advise on arrangements at universities and the Disabled Students Allowance. |
