Exam Success

All of our 4th Form (Year 10) students take the OCR Philosophy and Ethics Short Course in RS on 2 periods a week.

In 2006, 65% of the candidates gained A grades (with 10% gaining A*s). (A small number of candidates took the Full Course: 92% gained A grades, with 46% of these being A*s)

In 2007, 66% of the candidates gained A grades (with 30% of these being A*s).

Our A level results have been consistently good. In fact: In the last 6 years (2002 – 2007)

  • 43 % of candidates gained A grades
  • 70% of candidates gained an A or a B grade
  • 97% of candidates gained an A, B or C grade
  • No-one has gained less than a D grade
