Trips and Enrichment

Our Sixth Form students attend various Philosophy and Ethics Conferences. These provide an opportunity to hear some of the leading Philosophers and other thinkers.

We are hoping to run a Second Form trip to places of worship later this year.

The department has made a major contribution to the annual Sixth Form Conference. Mr Webster has organized this Conference every year since the first one in 1996.

Mr Griffiths and Mr Webster also run the ‘Friday Philosophers’. Sixth Form students take a leading role in this.

We also run occasional enrichment classes for members of the Junior School.

All members of the department play a major part in the Chaplaincy activities at King’s – assemblies, special services, confirmation classes and discussion groups. There are also special events such as a Chaplaincy BBQ.

Mr Webster occasionally organises theatre trips for pupils and staff (some of these have a moral and spiritual dimension!).
