Extra-curricular

King’s School has a vibrant extra-curricular life and nowhere more so than in music, sports and theatrical.

Despite the school’s strong academic performance, life at King’s is far from all work. There is an extensive range of clubs and activities both at lunchtimes and after school. Students are encouraged to make the most of the many opportunities open to them, to try out different activities and to discover their true interests and abilities. There is something for everyone.

At King’s we passionately believe in developing each child’s potential. Our aim is to widen personal interest, develop personality and build confidence.

Some activities offered in Junior School include extra games lessons, squad practices, play rehearsals and prep. Drama club, Chess, Latin, Cookery, Rounder’s, Hockey, Netball, Football, Rugby, Cheer Leading, Recorders, Creative Art and enrichment classes.

"The School lunches are scrumptious and very tasty as there is so much choice.  The after school clubs are good and I love Cheerleading.  I love Writing and Sport.  I like PSHE because I can tell the teacher my feeling and how I feel inside.  I have regular piano lessons at King's and enjoy our concerts".
