Clarion Call at The Kings School

Clarion Call enables us to contact parents directly via text message, e-mail and voicemail. This system enables us to contact all parents or specific groups e.g. parents of First Form pupils. Up to three people per pupil will be notified with the same message (i.e. this includes your nominated emergency contact). It is therefore very important that you ensure the School is kept up to date with your current contact details.

Although it is impossible to provide and exhaustive list of its applications, it is our intention that Clarion Call will be used as follows:

• To inform you of any changes to events on the calendar
• To confirm any school closures e.g. due to snow
• To automatically notify you should your son/daughter fail to register in the morning without a reason. To avoid receiving this message please call the absence line before 0900
• To let you know of certain deadlines e.g. reply slips, medical forms, overdue library books
• To inform you of ticket sales for key school events.

In compliance with data protection, you will NOT be contacted via any third party organisations, nor will your contact details be shared.
