We offer AS and A2 courses in Spanish and French and prepare our students for the AQA examination.
The study of Modern Foreign Languages provides the learner with many transferable skills applicable to today's world that can help with university or job applications.
The Department of Modern Languages strives to prepare students for active engagement in language learning . Students can expect to learn vocabulary and grammar at a more advanced level which will enable them to communicate orally and in writing on a wide range of current and topical issues.
Our small classes give our students the opportunity to express themselves with confidence and a good level of fluency. They also benefit from one to one sessions with native speakers.
Our aim is to make language learning rewarding and fun. We encourage our Sixth Form students to understand and appreciate the culture and customs of the people who speak the languages we study.
