Open Morning: Saturday 4th October
For parents looking for a pupil-centred, inspirational education for their child a visit to The King’s School in Gloucester is a must and our open morning on Saturday 4th October, is a great opportunity to discover more about our forward-thinking school.
Accompanied by one of our pupils, you will follow the interactive Discovery Trail around the School, see our facilities and meet some of our inspirational teachers. You will then have the opportunity to talk to the Admissions Team about our entrance process and the range of Scholarships and Bursaries available in the Senior School.

Sixth Form Open Evening: Wednesday 15th October
Students in Years 10 and 11 are warmly invited to King’s School Sixth Form Information Evening on Wednesday 15th October.
Winners of the SoGlos 2025, 2021 and 2020 ‘Independent School of the Year’, the King’s School offers academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care and a unique programme of co-curricular opportunities to over 130 pupils in its Sixth Form.
Our fantastic Sixth Form Centre offers a modern learning environment, café and social spaces in a 13th Century building - all designed to inspire pupils and encourage them to think differently about the world.
We strive to give them opportunities like no other: from a choice of over 24 A Level subjects or BTEC Sport, to one-to-one support with UCAS applications and post 18 choices, to a wealth of academic enrichment and co-curricular activities and an outstanding Future Skills programme, students are well-prepared for the next stages of their lives.
The excellent 2024 A Level and BTEC results demonstrate King’s tradition of academic achievement with 66% of all grades at A* - B.
Choosing the right Sixth Form is a hugely important decision and the Information Evening provides the ideal opportunity for parents and pupils to receive information and advice directly from Head of Sixth Form and the academic departments within the School.
