Welcome to Club 1541

Welcome to Club 1541

Club 1541 is the home of former students, parents and staff of The King's School, Gloucester.

Launched in September 2018 as part of Headmaster David Morton’s plan to reconnect with our Alumni. All former students join on leaving the school, receiving full membership to Club 1541 which includes their tie or pin and invitations to Alumni exclusive events.

As well as wanting to keep in touch with our former students, we are also keen to stay close with the their parents as well as ex-staff members of King's. As such, when they leave the King's Community they are warmly welcomed into Club 1541, receiving honorary memberships.

To help everybody stay connected after their time at King's has come to an end, we have an online portal called The Club 1541 Hub. This is a secure area where you can reconnect with your old school friends, sign up for events and see content such as photo galleries from years gone by and recaps of reunion events.

Role of the Foundation

The role of the King's Foundation is to support the Headmaster and Governors in the continued advancement of the School and to drive forward the School's long term development plans.

The aim is to make the King's school Gloucester an even better place, with excellent teaching and learning facilities and wider access for more pupils.

The Foundation Office is the administrative centre for all alumni activity.

  1. Build an informed and supportive King's school community by involving former pupils, parents and friends in the life of the School to promote its general well-being.
  2. Raise funds through philanthropic giving, to enhance existing facilities, develop new facilities, expand access and secure the long term future of King's Gloucester.
