In early September, over 100 pupils from five Gloucestershire Schools attended a Rugby Skills Masterclass at King's.

Girls and boys in Year 5, and of all playing abilities, from Gotherington, Kingsholm, Eldersfield Lawn, The Croft and The King's School, enjoyed a fun afternoon in the sunshine, learning new skills from the professionals.

Led by players and coaches from Gloucester Rugby FC, and supported by King's Rugby coaches and Sixth Form pupils, the pupils spent an hour practicing key skills, such as evasion, tackling, catching and passing, before moving on to play in a mini tournament.

Thanks to Gloucester players Al Morgan, Al Seville and Kirill Gotovtsev for inspiring the children and to coaches Harry Jones and Matt Teague for organising and leading the session.
