The Diocese of Dornakal elected their new Bishop, Rt Rev. Padma Rao Kodirekka on Saturday 19th June and he was consecrated in the Cathedral of Dornakal on Sunday 20th June.

Since 2008, King's has formed a partnership with the Dornakal Diocesan English Medium School in the Cathedral compound of Dornakal, India. We sponsor some of the pupils and have help provide funding for some building projects.

"The Rt Rev. Padma Rao Kodirekka has been Consecrated as the new Bishop of the Dornakal Diocese of the Church of South India (CSI) in a solemn service held at CSI Epiphany Cathedral at Dornakal, Telangana, on the 20th June 2021. He is the Ninth Bishop of the Diocese. The Rt Rev. Padma Rao has been elevated to this high office after a long and effective ministry in the diocese in various capacities for more than three decades of his ministry.The Rt Rev. Padma Rao’s wife Rev. Vijaya is an ordained minister of the CSI Diocese of Dornakal. The couple is blessed with 3 grown up children.
