Senior School Performing Arts

In the evening of 10th July the Senior School hosted a wonderful evening of dance, drama and music - showcasing the work of our talented pupils.

First to the stage was a short, original play written and directed by two of our Lower Sixth pupils, Beth and Seb. The play told the well-known story of Red Riding Hood - but not as we know it!  When the stories get muddled up, Red had to find her way back to her own story with the help of several other beloved fairy-tale characters, whilst battling through various villains. The cast of over 26 performers included members of the First to Third Form.

This was followed by music from the Chamber Choir, King's String Ensemble and the King's Swing Band as well as individual performances and individual and group dance performances from eight talented dancers.

It was a truly wonderful evening, celebrating the magic of dance, drama and music all of which have a vital and important place in the heart of the King's community - our pupil's enthusiasm and dedication to their performances is outstanding and was very much appreciated by the audience on this special evening.
